These sessions are a supportive way to connect with people. You can ask questions, get advice, discuss ideas or issues, get suggestions for literature to read, or you can just listen. This session is an opportunity to share your experience and expertise with others. It’s a great way to take part in discourse related to social capital and find opportunities for mutual learning and the potential for collaboration.
About the facilitator: Tristan Claridge has been researching social capital for over 20 years. He has explored the theoretical foundations of the concept and much of his work aims to bring conceptual and theoretical clarification.
First of all, I would like to congratulate Tristan and his team for the creation of this space for discussion on social capital.
My question is related to the social crisis we are currently experiencing where there is more social isolation, loss of trust and social division. So I want to raise the debate on what mechanisms can be generated to achieve the strengthening of social capital in this context.
The International Social Capital Association is an international non-profit member-based association devoted to advancing the research on and the application of the social capital concept for the benefit of all.

This is an important question. Shall we bring it up for discussion at our next discussion group meeting in November?
Sure. I agree if we could discuss it.
