Social capital is a complicated concept that is still poorly conceptualised and operationalised. The information presented here was written in 2004, there has been lots of new work in the area of social capital research that is not included.
To allow for further clarification and discussion, you are welcome to submit comments that will appear at the bottom of the page in question.
All comments will be reviewed by the author before they appear on the site, which I endeavour to do as quickly as possible, but normally within a few days.
When leaving comments, please consider the following:
